We finally got our much anticipated ultrasound at 30 weeks along. I've been calling the baby a boy and telling Maggs all about her brother being in mommy's tummy, but she's not having a brother yet. She's having a baby sister named Zoe Katherine. Hopefully, they'll be best friends and share their daddy with each other. I sure hope that Isy won't have to be the only guy in the family forever. He's already the only non-June birthday.
Now for a cute Maggie story. The other night Isy had to go to a class at night and Maggs and I were home alone and happened to be watching The Singing Bee and she was playing with a flashlight. She'd get so excited when someone finished singing and they'd clap. She'd scream yay and clap and wave her arms every time. At some point in the show when it was down to the final two contestants, she catches my attention by saying a word that I've never heard her say. I see her standing in the floor facing the tv, swaying, holding the flashlight to her mouth, and singing along with the contestant. This was the most adorable thing in the world. Once they were done, she turned to me and made me clap and yay for them. She did the same thing with the next contestant and I wished so hard the whole time that I had access to my camera at that moment.
